Last night while we were at my parents Brian came out of the TV room downstairs saying President Hinckley had died. I looked at him and said it couldn't be true, but he just told me he'd recieved two test messages from friends. We all ran upstairs and heard it on the radio. My heart was broken. I confess that I cried in my shock. I feel his loss, but rejoice in thinking of the reunion he must of had with his sweet wife Marjorie. What a joyful day in heaven!
I had the opportunity to see him at the temple a few years back. I was there doing baptisms, and almost ran into him as I walked toward the baptistry. Security directed me back up the hall as the first presidency walked through. I remember Pres Hinckley stop, look at each of us standing there and he raised his cane in hello. I will never forget the love that I felt that day seeing our prophet in the house of the Lord.
He was loved by his people and will be missed.

Good Times with Good Friends
Yesterday night we went to our friend's Ben and Marie's to hang out for a little while. While Marie, Aimee and I talked, Ben and Jeremy had fun playing the Wii. Ben and Marie have two handsome and dashing little boys - Miles is 1 and Ethan is six weeks today!! They live in Syracuse right now and we don't get to see them very often so we really treasured visiting with them and hearing how their little family is doing.
Miles and Jeremy are buddies! They enjoyed playing with Miles toy cars and playing on the Wii.

Here is a little something to try (if you haven't already) that will certainly get your mind going! I know mine did!
1. WITHOUT anyone watching you (They will think you are GOOFY) and while sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make Clockwise Circles.
2.Now......while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your Right Hand. Your foot will change direction. I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done, You are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.
Blows my mind!!! Hope you enjoyed it!

And so it begins...
So I finally caved! I've watched many family members and friends get one of these here blogs and I decided to give it a shot! I begin with some pictures for everyones enjoyment from our trip to Florida in Sept 07. We flew down to help our friends Tyler and Destiny . We spent some time shopping, went to the Universal theme parks and Disney Quest. After that we packed up drove home to Utah, a trip that lasted five days. We made some great memories and had lots of fun in the process. Here are a few pics!
The only time I will get close to a shark...because its not real!!
While Tyler and Destiny were watching a magician I ran into Marilyn and Doc Brown! That day it had snowed in Utah and Marilyn said she was jealous. (It was 90 degrees outside with 110% humidity! HOT!!)
The classic "standing by the universal globe" pic...man that water felt good!

Jeremy took these while I was crashed in the passenger's seat as we left Champagne IL on Saturday morning. I didn't know I had an amateur photographer for a husband! They are gorgeous...kinda sorry I missed it!
I am excited to continue to add to this and hope that you all enjoy it as well!!
