Well tomorrow I officially begin my second trimester. I'm slowly starting to feel better and continue to pray that complete relief is around the corner. Baby and I had our check up yesterday and although the doc did his best to try and hear a little heartbeat, our little guy or girl didn't want to be heard quite yet. But doc says that my size is right and baby and I are coming along just fine! So we'll try again in 4 weeks and then in 8 I'll have my ultra sound! I can feel a nice little bump forming and am anxiously awaiting it to grow so I can finally look the part!
We were excited to find out a few weeks ago that a few more friends are expecting at the same time we are! It's fun to be able to go through the joys of pregnancy with friends by your side. We wives complain to each other to give our husband's a break, if only for a little while. It will be exciting to adjust to mommyhood together too.
I was reading on ksl.com today about a condition dr's are calling "momnesia." Pregnant women and new mother's can experience lapse in memory due to everything that is on their mind. I now have a legitimate excuse for my memory issues...what was I talking about? Just kidding!! But it's true. So all you mother's out there...blame it on "momnesia!"

Welcome Spring and Easter!
Spring has officially arrived! Its wonderful to have the sun shining and warmer temps! And what a beautiful Easter Sunday it was!
We had a beautiful sacrament meeting with wonderful messages on the Savior, his atonement and resurrection. The highlight of the meeting for me came when the choir sang "What is This Thing That Men Call Death." For those of you who may not know, the words to the song were written by President Hinckley several years ago and Janice Kapp Perry read them and decided to put music to it. The Tab choir sang this at his funeral. The words are so touching and I couldn't stop my tears from falling. How grateful I am for the atonement and knowing that through our Savior we will overcome death and live forever with our families!
We spent a wonderful evening with family last night too. Dinner was delicious! For some reason ham is one of the only meats I can comfortably tolerate, and cooked vegetables are wonderful! I chowed down on asparagus and green beans. Yummy! We hadn't seen Jer's brother or sister for a couple of months so it was really nice to talk with them and see how they are doing.
After that we headed out to my parents to spend some time visiting with the Lyman clan. The boys were playing out in the yard when we got there and my tummy got some hello's as I was sitting at the table. Nat and Heather and I talked about the wonders of pregnancy and the wonder that is morning sickness. Both her and Nat just had their boys in the last six months so they are glad that its my turn and they are done! It's strange to think that our son or daughter will be about a year younger then my youngest cousins.
After everyone left we settled in on the couch and made Dad watch Enchanted. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! Even Jeremy thought it was pretty good! I love Disney!
