Head, Shoulders, Knees...and hopefully soon her toes!

Maegan's hair is uncontrollable. Just like her mother's! It just does whatever it wants to. This is also a good picture of her Elvis lip!

Maegan has recently discovered her knees and grabs onto them every time she tries to sit up on her own. I'm excited and nervous for her to discover her toes because I know she will want to put them in her mouth, and because it will be so darn cute to watch her play with them. Ah the joys of motherhood.

She is super strong and loves to grab everything from her clothes to mommy's neck. And she loves to stand up and look around. It's so much fun to see her grow and develop. I can't wait to see what's coming down the road. More fun and exciting things that will surely challenge us, but we look forward to it.

In Loving Memory

On Sunday Jeremy's father Dennis unexpectedly lost his best friend of many years, Mike McClelland, to a heart attack. It was a shock to us all as we loved Mike so dearly. He was an uncle to Jeremy and his siblings from the time they were born and I loved him dearly. He welcomed me into the family so wonderfully when I married Jeremy.
Some of the family might remember him for his humorous presentation at our wedding luncheon of HEEK (the honeymoon enhancement emergency kit.) Mike had a wonderful sense of humor and was very creative and generous, opening his heart and home to many friends and family. We know he was needed on the other side of the veil, but we will miss him dearly.
Cher, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. We love you!

3 Months

Maegan is now three months old and just getting to be so much fun! She talks to much and smiles all the time. Her fussiness has really decreased and she just likes to wiggle around and look at everything.

This is one of my best friends Nicole and her boyfriend Shawn (boy I hope I spelled that right!) My friend Mary returned home from her mission the day after Christmas and we were at her homecoming. It was so much fun to visit with friends new and old. This is the first picture I have of Nicole holding Maegan. I'm so glad my friends are cool with me being a mom! And they are so wonderful with her.

This is her in the little bathrobe some friends of the family gave us. She doesn't like getting into it, but once she's in, she looks so cute!

I know it's almost a month late but this is a picture we took at the Grant family Christmas party. She looked so adorable and I've come to realize that I love headbands on her. They make her look so cute! But I'm having a hard time finding some for her...any good suggestions out there of where to look?

Sugar Bowl Champs!

So at the beginning of my post I must congratulate the Utes on their perfect season, one they earned! They played most incredibly in last nights game! Hopefully the rest of the nation will give them the credit they deserve. I'm not sure they will ever be underestimated again!

So it's been a while since I've posted. We've been busy with me getting back to work and the holidays. Maegan is growing beautifully, but had continued to spit up over half of what she ate at every meal. So we switched her to a formula that clumps when it hits her stomach and that has slowed it significantly. It hasn't calmed the fussiness because she gets gas with this new one, but some gas drops have helped quite a bit. Hopefully soon we'll be able to pull her off her acid reflux medication and see if that has gone away. Cross your fingers and pray! Here are some more pics. I'll have to upload some more soon.

The first documented smile! CUTE!!!

This was taken after a bath. I will never tire of her little looks in all their varieties. It's just so much fun to watch her grow!
