On Wednesday we took Maegan to the zoo for the first time, and she enjoyed it a lot! It was the last day of Zoorasic Park, and as much as she talked up wanting to see the dinosaurs before we got there, once she was standing in front of the robotic dinos, she freaked out and wanted to be held. We finally got her to sit on this t-rex at the end because it didn't move. She smiled for this one photo before asking to get off.

While we were over looking at the elephants some workers pulled out African drums and other instruments for the kids to play. Maegan loved her drum!
Of all the attractions the zoo had to offer, this was her favorite of all, the wooden horse, which she affectionately named Maximus. (She is obsessed with the movie Tangled.)
It was a fun day, and we were glad we got to spend it together as a family. We're looking forward to seeing the new exhibit that is supposed to open up next summer. Should be fun!
