Our little girl is growing up so fast! She is talking and running, and as thrilled as I am, I am also in complete denial! I'm not ready for the toddler stage, but it's finally come!
Maegan is a chatterbox! Anywhere we take her she will chat it up with whoever is around, or she'll just chatter to herself. And she loves to run around outside, no matter the weather conditions, which is a bit of a problem on those rainy and snowy days. Hopefully soon they will be far behind us and we can go on lots of walks and go to the park...ahhh those days will be nice.

Cabin 2010
We really enjoyed the cabin 2010! Maegan was big enough this year to ride the machines, and she had so much fun! She looked adorable all dressed up in her snow gear too.
Sledding with Daddy! She got snow sprayed in her face the second time down the hill and was kind of done after that.

On the Move!!
Maegan is walking! Check out our little gal! She just up and started moving one night when I got home from school! Jer got this little video for us. Now we're chasing after her all the time. Church is especially fun. I just can't believe she's all grown up!

I Am So Blessed!
I'll admit that being a mother has it's challenges, but most of the time I can't help thanking the Lord for this beautiful little girl! She is so vibrant and full of joy! And she's so smart! She loves to flip through books and look at the pictures. Today she watched me make sock puppets and wanted some of her own, so I obliged her. She wasn't quite sure what to do when she got them on, but it was so much fun to watch.

These are my best friends from my high school. They all got married this summer, so it was busy! Nicole (in the stripes) and her husband Shawn moved to Arizona recently, but came into town for the holidays, so we all got together the day after Christmas at Mary and Travis's (in the red and green. Jake and Krystal are both in black.) Maegan had a wonderful time as she bonded with everyone again. We had a marvelous breakfast, and enjoyed playing games (including the Celestial Companions game...good times) and just visiting. But it all ended too soon and we look forward as always to when we can all be together again. I love you guys!!

Happy Halloween!
Halloween was a blast this year! After much deliberation we decided we'd go as the Flintstones. Thanks to my mom for helping me with the costumes. Friday night we attended a Halloween party with several of my friends. We had great food, played some fun games, and Maegan made some new friends. Since she was the only baby there, she was life of the party!
Earlier this week I decided I would surprise Jer with tickets to the blackout game. He was ecstatic and last night we left Maegan with his parents and we headed to Rice Eccles Stadium. It was a beautiful night and the weather wasn't too bad. The game itself was rather frustrating as we had some heckling Wyoming fans sitting right behind us, and the U didn't do much until the fourth quarter. Thankfully they won the game. And Jer and I had a fantastic evening with each other doing something we both love.

A Weekend with Friends
We had such a wonderful weekend with our friends! Tyler and Destiny flew in from Florida to be here with their families for their son Tyce's first birthday (he is 10 days younger then Maegan.) They came over to visit with us last Friday night and we talked until almost 1 am! Saturday we had so much fun at Tyce's birthday party. Later that evening we all went out to Jason and Aimee's and had wonderful time with all our kids together. Here are Destiny and I with Tyce and Maegan.
I think she was about to sneeze. Tyce was so cute! Destiny warned me that he head butts to say hello, something he learned from his playmates in Florida. So every time they got near each other Tyce was trying to head butt Maegan. I thought it was sooo cute! I think she was about to sneeze when Jeremy took this picture.

A First Birthday!
Today Maegan turned one! It was a hard day for her. A couple of days ago she came down with a cold and hasn't been sleeping well. So when we got to Grandma's to set up for the party, she was out cold! Thankfully she woke up just as the great-grandparents started to arrive. Here she is all bundled up in her car seat. So tired...She didn't take much interest in opening her gifts. She most just wanted to play with things after I opened them. When Grandpa Sorensen brought this over to her, her eyes lit up!
We had a wonderful time with everyone who attended and thank you for your continuing love and support! We love our little Muffin and are just so excited to see her grow and develop. Having a child was the best decision Jeremy and I ever made (besides marrying each other...wouldn't want kids without the marriage part.) Heavenly Father truly blessed us with a miracle when he sent her to us.

Muffin Maegan
Sorry it's been so long since I've updated! School started, Maegan started crawling...soon she'll be walking and I don't know where the last three months have gone!
Our lives have been very hectic the past few months. I started my fall semester and am enjoying my class thus far. I'm taking Biology and doing much better then I thought I would. I'll be glad to have the Christmas break to spend with family though. Jeremy was released from the Sunday school presidency and we are enjoying our 2nd and 4th Sundays mornings together since he no longer needs to attend ward council. I finished my primary program at the end of Sept and am now getting the kids ready to sing in sacrament for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We also purchased a new car last month. Jeremy's Cavalier had been shutting off on him and we finally decided it wasn't worth putting any more money into. So we are now the new owners of a 2007 Kia Spectra, and since it's a manual I am now learning to drive a stick.
Maegan is growing so fast! She started crawling at the end of August, and I'll admit, I'm not sure I'm looking forward to her walking. It's hard enough to keep up with her as it is! She likes to talk to us about everything, and we're looking forward to actually understanding some of the words she is saying. Soon she'll be one! Playing with her new teeth...she has seven now!
